The Johns Hopkins Germ-free Core is ~1500 square feet with 3 animal rooms, dedicated autoclave and two work rooms. Three germ-free mouse lines, C57Bl/6, Rag and multiple intestinal neoplasia (Apc+/-) mice, are available.

This Core is for employees of the JHU SPH, Department of MMI only. The Core provides training, support and maintenance of MMI Departmental lab equipment that is shared by MMI investigators and their labs. The Core also provides glassware washing services and maintains a shared microscope facility.
